Sai Spiritual Education | Bal Vikas
Sai Spiritual Education (SSE/Bal Vikas) is the primary basis of the great movement to restore righteousness in the world. The aim is to guide and mould the children from an early age, so they acquire and practice the right values in life, and learn to live with discipline and simplicity.
In Sai Spiritual Education or Bal Vikas, the
teacher has to use five teaching techniques
as given by Swami. These include:
"Children are the crops growing in the
fields, to yield the harvest on which the nation has to sustain itself. They are the
pillars on which the foundation of the
nation’s future is built. They are the roots
of the national tree, which has to give the
fruits of work, worship and wisdom to the
next generation." - Swami
"The ideal of the Bal Vikas is to raise a generation of boys and girls who have a clean and clear conscience. Bal Vikas is the primary basis of the great movement to restore Dharma in the world. The young minds of children are not polluted and hence they can be led into good ways of living, simplicity, humility and discipline." - Swami
